It was the summer of 2017 and Love Island had taken the nation by storm
The Idea
It was a simple one. Profit from Love Island by selling merch online.
If you have never heard of ❤️ 🏝️ it was/is a very trashy TV show started in the UK. It was all over the news and all the country was talking about.
With so much attention, there was high demand for merch. I jumped into action to give the UK what it wanted. 
I built a site, photoshopped popular sayings onto colourful sweatshirts and voila – a business was born.
I ran a £20 Facebook ads, got a few sales and shut up shop when the show ended. I knew a T-shirt printing guy so sent him the orders and posted them out to happy customers.
A fun little project with some profit at the end! 🎉
